Part One

Detective Peter Jones will protect what's his, and he definitely views Val as his, even if she isn't sure about it. From the moment he lay eyes on her, he knew he had to have her. And he will allow nothing to stand in his way.
Val is not so sure, after all, just coming out of an abusive relationship, trying to deal with a man who never takes no for an answer, and all the recent changes going on in her life, she wants to take things so much slower.
But there's a gang of killers on the loose, a dangerous group who care nothing for the people who get in their way. When Val is threatened, kidnapped by what turns out to be members of the group he's hunting, Jones will do everything he can to get back what belongs to him.

Part Two

Pete and Val have settled into their life. The horrors that saw Val hanging for her life from a second floor window are still plaguing Officer Peter Jones, along with the man who left her there to die. But he’s not going to sit quietly waiting for Val’s ex to try that stunt again. Not if he can help it.

Val is content, more than she has ever been. With their first baby on the way, her life has finally fallen into place. When an old friend comes calling, Val is apprehensive, but their long-standing relationship wins Val over. Until she’s betrayed, again.
What began as a normal day ends with Officer Jones intent on finding a way to protect his loved ones, solve a crime whose tentacles are more far-reaching than even he can imagine, and trust the only person who holds all the answers.

"This a first time read of this author for me and man what a ride. Gotta say excellent writing. Suspense, action, mystery, betrayal & love all live their best lives in this well paced book. The bad guys were really bad guys & the good guys were two steps behind. Would’ve liked to see more smarts w/the police work. Pete obviously wasn’t an idiot & knew what was going on but kept chasing his tail. The love story was addictive because Pete was in love & claiming his woman. I liked that the author painted a complete & immersive picture. Yes Val annoyed me w/a few of her decisions of not using common sense considering her situation but I’ve seen worse so I can let her slide. Overall good writing & execution."

We All Fall Down edition by Sara Allen Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • I have been waiting for this book since reading Part 1 in 7 degrees of Alphas. Ms Allen did make slight revisions for some parts in the beginning from the original but they were good revisions that helped the storyline and gave a little more insight in the type of relationship Val had with Damon. Ms Allen also taped intro the behavior of an abuser and their warped their sense of reality. PETER & VAL were good together and lived their chemistry. I wonder will occur between DOUG & BECCA🤔.
  • The snippet I read a while ago was really good, and even though it took a minute to get the entire book it was well worth the wait. Jones and Val were a lovely couple. That Damon was a slippery so and so wasn't he? Glad he was finally captured and an end was out to the terror plaguing the city. Now I'm left wondering if Dougie will find his one in Becca.
  • Well I finally got to finish this book. And it was just as good as what I expected. You write more than sex you tell a story with every line of the book keeps you wanting more. 5 books from you and they all have been excellent.
  • I tried, but I couldn’t do it. It’s very repetitive...and then when Jones meets Val and is so incredibly pushy...so cages, then before they even have any real conversation she’s telling herself no sex on the first date even though it isn’t a date...not to mention she’s in a relationship....then she tells a police officer her car gets stolen and expects him not to ask questions...I just couldn’t...
  • Much anticipated. I remember reading this in 7 Degrees of Alpha and just when the story was getting good, it ends. I searched high and low, looking for the full-length novel. Now that it's here, baaby!!! Peter and Val had to go through some things before their happily ever after and it wasn't because of their distrust of each other or because of family, it was because of a bitter ex. Damon (bitter ex of Val) felt like if he couldn't have Val, no one should. Not only was he trying to ruin their relationship but he was involved in alot of criminal activity that Detective Jones (Peter) was at a roadblock trying to solve due to his superiors. Well worth the wait.
  • When I read the first part of this book in another book, I was really interested in it. Now that I have read the book, I wish I could get the time I spent reading it back. One, I don't think the book have enough back story about the characters. I would have wanted to know more about Sandra and Val's relationship. And why Damon was the way he was to Val and what did do to Sandra's and Val relationship. Val was annoying. She got mad at Peter for asking questions while on a date. For one, he's a cop. It's in their nature and two, you ask tons of questions on a first date. Lastly, I am not a fan of insta-love so I lost interest at how Peter poured his heart out to Val. And why don't people practice safe sex? This book annoyed me to no end.
I would not recommend this book.
  • This book could've been good,if only the author took the time to develop the characters and their world better. They were all one dimensional and made it hard to sympathize with them, I couldn't loose myself in a story so badly written. Would not be reading anything more from this author.
